5 Questions With: Shenae Grimes

She's the modern-day version of Brenda Walsh, the new poster girl for paparazzi and a staple in tabloid stories about eating disorders and diva antics on set -- yep, even if you haven't gotten into '90210,' you're probably already familiar with Shenae Grimes.

Playing Annie Wilson -- the sweet girl from small town Kansas who's thrust into the fast lane when her family moves to Beverly Hills -- Shenae's character has already faced drama with being the school play lead, peer pressure with drinking and sex, catty fighting over a boy with the school bee-yotch, a long-lost step-brother imposter and the shame of having bowling night with her Midwest family.

AOL TV caught up with Shenae at the CW's party at the Peach Pit during the TV Critics' Press Tour to get the exclusive scoop on the price of fame, how she can relate to her TV alter-ego and what shows she can't get enough of.

1. Are you responsible for all the paparazzi here? And is that just part of the job for you now?
I think I brought a couple. [Laughs] No, I think everyone's attracting them. They're on me every day. They're there ... it's really not a big deal at all. I say hey, how is your day -- we exchange little niceties -- and then I get in my car and I'm on my way. It's their job. A lot of them have been like, 'I don't want you to be freaked out, but I'm assigned to you.' [Laughs] It is what it is -- it's so weird, and it'll never not be weird, but it's not the worst thing in the world.

2. Have your friends in Canada seen the show? And are they as obsessed as American audiences are?
Canadians love it! Are you kidding me? Everyone's going nuts at home. It's everywhere all the time -- we have 'ET Canada' and so like I'm on that all the time. And Dustin [Milligan]! They love it. My friends love it and they watch it like dorks -- it's awesome.

3. How much are you like your character, Annie?
I think I'm like her in the sense that we come from a very similar place -- a very grounded, kind of humble world that we love, and didn't necessarily want to leave. In that sense, I'm definitely going through a lot of the motions with her. I think our hearts are in the same place, but obviously, personality-wise, we're very different. I'm not as naïve to the world as Annie is. I've kind of been forced to grow up pretty quick, leaving home and everything to come out here. I think I'm in a different place in my life than Annie though.

4. What if the show lasts a decade like the original -- are you in it for the long haul?
Oh my god, as long as it's around -- I mean, who knows what's going to happen. I think 24 episodes for a season is pretty awesome, so it's a good sign. I'm here -- this is my big break man! I'm riding the rollercoaster.

5. What TV shows are you into?
I watch a lot of one-hour dramas in my trailer -- 'Dexter,' 'Grey's Anatomy,' 'Party of Five' ... 'Freaks and Geeks' I love, but that was only one season, sadly. At home, I'll watch bad reality ... well not bad reality, but like Khloe Kardashian is a friend of mine, and she's my friend because I basically told her I'm obsessed with her. [Laughs] I love that show. 'Living Lohan' is entertaining ... even 'Bromance.' Whatever -- it's so fun, so why not.
