What to Watch Weekend, Jan. 10-11

'24'
(Sun., 8PM, Fox) 7th season premiere
Jack Bauer's on trial for his interrogation tactics, Tony Almeida's alive and CTU has been disbanded, which proves to be just the right amount of drama to get this new season off to a great start.

Fans have been waiting for more than a year (that darn writers strike!) for new episodes, and these first four hours (which continue Monday night at 8) were worth the wait, as the first female President of the United States (Cherry Jones) faces a national security threat and calls on – who else? – Jack to help ferret out the terrorists behind it.

And it's that search for the bad guys that leads to a very familiar – and previously very dead, or so we thought – face.

'Saturday Night Live'
(Sat., 11:30PM, NBC)
NPH hosting 'SNL' ... it's about time. And joining 'How I Married Your Mother' star Neil Patrick Harris, as the musical guest: Taylor Swift, one of the least annoying teen stars who's dated a Jonas Brother.

Golden Globes Awards
(Sun., 8PM, NBC)
The 66th annual kudosfest features a tribute to Steven Spielberg, presenters like Jennifer Lopez, Simon Baker, Jake Gyllenhaal and Zac Efron, and, if the past is any indication, a happily imbibing Jack Nicholson.

'Dane Cook: Rough Around the Edges'
(Sun., 9PM, Comedy Central)
He comedian, who hasn't had much to laugh about in real life lately (http://pantagraph.com/articles/2009/01/08/freetime/doc495e11d3729f3221441787.txt), has 40,000 fans laughing their booties off as he riffs on the Civil War and the sexiness of motorcycle helmets in this Madison Square Garden performance.

'Battlestar Galactica: 10 Things You Need to Know'
(Sun., 11PM, Sci Fi)
Not that the 'BG' devoted need it, but this half-hour special is a handy primer for those who might want to jump into the show when it returns this week for its Final. Ten. Episodes. Ever.

'My Big Redneck Wedding'
(Sat., 9PM, CMT) 3rd season premiere
The season opener is just ducky, as an Illinois couple pays homage to the groom's duck-hunting hobby with mallard-themed nuptials that include guests watching the ceremony from boats and a spirited game of Duck, Duck Goose at the reception.

'The Graham Norton Show'
(Sat., 10PM, BBCA)
He's sparked Oscar buzz for his role as 'The Wrestler' and rumors of a role as 'Iron Man 2's' villain, and the irreverent Graham has a sitdown with comeback kid Mickey Rourke.

'Tool Academy '
(Sun., 10PM, VH1) series premiere
Girlfriends have nominated their rude boyfriends for this reality show, in which the fellas are shipped off to a behavior boot camp, where one rehabbed tool will win $100,000. Which he'll probably blow on a hot car that he'll use to pick up a new girlfriend. Hey, tool habits die hard.

Also on this weekend:
- 'Game Show in My Head' (Sat., 8PM, CBS)
- 'Cold Case' (Sun., 9PM, CBS)
- 'Brothers and Sisters' (Sun., 10PM, ABC)

What's on Monday: 'Kyle XY,' 'The Bachelor' and more.
