What to Watch Wednesday, Nov. 3

christmas in rockefeller center'Christmas in Rockefeller Center'
(8PM, NBC)
Al Roker hosts and Tony Bennett, Harry Connick Jr., Beyonce, the Jonas Brothers, David Cook and Rascal Flatts perform, but the real star of this celebration is the 72-foot-tall Norway spruce that will stand in Rockefeller Center.

Tonight, Roker and the other celebs help flip the switch on the tree's thousands of multicolored lights, an event that officially marks the beginning of the holiday season in New York City.

In fact, this year's tree is such a symbol of the holidays that it's getting its own star: a 550-pound Swarovski crystal ornament that will serve as the tree's topper.

'Victoria's Secret Fashion Show'

(10PM, CBS)
And then there are the celeb models -- yes, like Heidi Klum -- who won't light a tree or sing, because they'll be too busy struttin' down a runway in their fancy drawers.

'Secret Millionaire'
(8PM, Fox) series premiere
In this timely adaptation of a British reality series, wealthy Americans travel to small towns where they pretend to be minimum wage workers, then reveal themselves to be the millionaires they are and drop a pile o' cash on the unsuspecting citizens.

'Grammy Nominations Concert Live!'
(9PM, CBS)
And the celebs who aren't at the tree lighting in New York are in Los Angeles celebrating the announcement of the 2009 Grammy nominees. Among the L.A. performers: John Mayer, Foo Fighters, Taylor Swift and Mariah Carey.

'Spectacle: Elvis Costello With ...'

(9PM, Sundance)
Elvis has not left the building. In fact, he's ready to sit down each week with a different celeb pal -- Elton John tonight, and The Police, Bill Clinton and Tony Bennett in future eps -- as they chat and, of course, perform a little ditty or two.

'Pushing Daisies'
(8PM, ABC)
Gross: When Ned and Olive compete in a comfort food contest, one of their rivals gets a little too into his work and ends up dead ... and deep fried. That cannot be a good way to go.

'Tyler Perry's House of Payne'
(10 and 10:30PM, TBS) 3rd season premiere
What could possibly be bigger than Calvin and Miranda's wedding? Perhaps, the birth of triplets?

Also on tonight:
- 'Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer' (8PM, CBS)
- 'A Christmas Story' (8PM, TNT)
- 'The Contender' (10PM, Versus)

What's on tomorrow: '30 Rock,' '10 Most Fascinating People' and more
