The annual Snowflake Ball provides the Upper East Side teens with an opportunity for romance, but, as usual, exactly who'll be, ahem, Ball-ing with who is up in the air.

Serena is happily ensconced in her new relationship with artist Aaron, but when his ex-girlfriend shows up at the gallery and starts making plans with Serena's ex, Dan, Miss van der Woodsen gets jealous.

Meanwhile, Nate finds himself in a love triangle with pals Jenny and Vanessa, and Chuck and Blair meet a pair of lookalikes and counsel them on how they -- the dopplegangers -- can make a relationship work where they -- the real Chuck and Blair -- can't.

'I Am Because We Are'

Madonna produced, wrote and narrates this crushing documentary about the millions of children who've been orphaned by AIDS in Malawi, where her adopted son David was born.

Sam begins these back-to-back episodes with a boyfriend ... but she ends them as a single woman.

They missed Thanksgiving dinner, but Captain Awesome's parents show up for a post-holiday visit and reveal a brilliant bit of casting by the 'Chuck' crew: Papa Awesome is played by Bruce Boxleitner and Mama Awesome is played by Morgan Fairchild.

Crazy Catherine Piper returns and gets all up in Carl's Kool-Aid, while Alan petitions the state Supreme Court to get access to an experimental drug that might slow down Denny's Alzheimer's.
