Visiting the set of 'Heroes' might just be the most exclusive outing ever. NBC's superhero drama is notoriously secretive with its storylines, and set visits are a once-a-season treat, if that. So to be invited to play for the day was a thrill -- when we heard it was to watch another of their infamous looks at possible futures, we were ecstatic.
Here are five juicy nuggets straight from Stage 4 of Sunset Gower Studios in Hollywood. Don't forget to check back for our chat with Zachary Quinto before the 'Angels and Monsters' episode on Oct. 13.
1. A Game of Memory: In typical 'Heroes' fashion, cast members were simultaneously working on episode 4, as well as episodes 2, 8 and 9. Can you imagine how confusing that must get? It's hard enough to keep up with stories when you're watching them on TV -- in order! Maybe they've all gained the power of incredible memory.
2. Think Fast! While the actors rehearsed their scene together, producers were watching a clip from 'The Chronicles of Riddick' on a portable DVD player, getting pointers for how Daphne's super-fast fight scenes should look. And somewhere in the world, Vin Diesel got another royalty check.
3. Casting Call: There was a little casting side-discussion about a character named Mr. Weber, who producers only requested look "vulnerable." Vulnerable? On 'Heroes'? We hope they're not looking for the same qualities that made Maya the hero people loved to hate last season. Whining about those black-out eyes sparked more annoyance than compassion.
4. Kidding Around: We saw the transformation of the Bennet house -- a khaki-clad Sylar (Zachary Quinto) is fighting his murderous urges and raising his son there. The little boy looked to be about four years old, and the scene was set four years in the future, begging the question: Who's the mother, and when is Sylar going to get a little action?
5. Killer on the Loose: One final reminder that you're in the middle of Hollywood: actor Michael C. Hall was leaning up against a Miami Police car in the garage. Turns out they were filming scenes for 'Dexter' in the same garage where the 'Heroes' park. Mr. Morgan better watch himself.

Well to be honest, I like this series a lot. Heroes is my number one show.

Yah, your right on with those things. If we could just urge ourselves to master those skills, then we can be the smartest guy on the streets.
