Buffy': Where Are They Now?
Welcome (back) to the Hellmouth.
For seven years, Buffy and the Scooby gang kicked, punched and staked countless vampires (or should we say "undead Americans"?), demons, monsters, witches, zombies and other forces of darkness-y things. Buffy was a student by day, Slayer by night. As she once said, "If the apocalypse comes, beep me."
We check in to see what the Scoobies, their friends and foes have been doing since their time in Sunnydale.

Then: As a precocious child actress, Gellar became famous for bad-mouthing McDonald's in a Burger King commercial. Later, she starred in teen drama 'Swan's Crossing' and soap opera 'All My Children' as daytime diva Erika Kane's ('Susan Lucci') on-screen daughter Kendall. Two years after 'AMC,' Gellar took on the iconic role of Buffy Summers and staked a place in television history.

Now: Through 'Buffy''s run, Gellar starred in numerous movies including 'I Know What You Did Last Summer,' 'Scream 2,' 'Cruel Intentions' and the 'Scooby Doo' franchise, in which she starred alongside husband Freddie Prinze Jr. After the series ended, she continued her film career, often in horror movies like 'The Grudge,' but will return to television in HBOs' 'The Wonder Maladys' in 2009.

Then: Before playing Buffy's Watcher, Head had a prolific TV career in his native Britain and the U.S., appearing as a regular on no fewer than two U.K. series and in guest spots on such BBC shows as 'MI-5' and 'Jonathan Creek' and American series 'NYPD Blue,' 'Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place' and 'Fillmore!' But he was best known in the States for a series of Nescafe coffee commercials.

Now: Head's gone back across the pond; U.S. fans are most likely to have caught him on the cult hit comedy 'Little Britain,' as the Prime Minister; he had a blink-and-you'll-miss-him part in Tim Burton's 'Sweeney Todd,' and will next show up in the odd 'Repo! The Genetic Opera' and as Duncan in an updated version of 'Macbeth.'

Then: Hollywood really is a small place: Hannigan's first major movie role was in 1988's 'My Stepmother's an Alien' -- also featuring her future on-screen boyfriend Seth Green. After appearances on 'Picket Fences' and 'Roseanne,' she won the role of Buffy's nerdy best friend/powerful witch. Fun fact: Hannigan wasn't the first Willow; Riff Regan played the part in the show's pilot presentation.

Now: 'Buffy' not only helped Hannigan launch a movie career, with roles in the 'American Pie' franchise and 'Date Movie' -- it introduced her to husband Alexis Denisof (who played Wesley Wyndham-Pryce). She returned to television first in a recurring role on 'Veronica Mars,' and currently stars in the comedy 'How I Met Your Mother.'

Nicholas Brendon
Xander Harris
Then: Before his breakthrough role in 'Buffy,' you might have seen Brendon as "Guy in Ray-Ray's Gang" in an episode of 'Married ... With Children' or "Basketball Player One" in 'Children of the Corn III' -- but probably not. Brendon leveraged his popularity to draw attention to stuttering, from which he'd suffered, by doing PSAs for the Stuttering Foundation of America. He also threw some work to his identical twin, actor Kelly Donovan, who played his seemingly evil twin in one ep and was his body double when Brendon was too sick to work.

Now: Reportedly, 'Buffy' creator Joss Whedon wanted Brendon for the role of Malcolm Reynolds on his other show 'Firefly,' but Brendon couldn't fit it into his schedule, so the part went to Nathan Fillion. Since 'Buffy' ended, Brendon co-starred in the short-lived 'Kitchen Confidential,' voiced a character in 'American Dragon: Jake Long' reunited with 'Buffy' co-star Charisma Carpenter in an ABC Family movie and had a story arc on 'Criminal Minds.'

Then: The former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader had a story arc on 'Malibu Shores' before she appeared as Cordy, a snooty cheerleader who eventually became a core member of the 'Buffy'-verse. She had a long and complicated romance with Xander and moved to L.A. to work as an investigator on 'Angel,' until she was written of in the show's fifth season.

Why so dismissive (and wrong)about what Amber Benson has been up to? In addition to acting, she's been writing, directing and producing projects. See http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0072435/ or http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amber_Benson for details the article failed to mention. She's certainly a lot more successful and busy than you portray! "Tara" deserves better.

A Buffy alum you missed - Robia LaMorte (Jenny Calendar) has mostly retired from acting and is engaged full-time in Christian ministry and counseling, though she still shows up from time-to-time in TV adverts as an Oil of Olay spokeswoman. She has a website at http://www.robialamorte.com.

Another memorable Buffy alum you missed: Robin Sachs, who guest starred as Rupert Giles' old frenemy, Ethan Rayne.
More info on Robin Sachs can be found at http://www.robinsachs.com/ and http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0755179/.

Ya blew it! Amber Benson has been a whole lot busier than you've given her credit for. Writing, directing, producing for the BBC, her own movies, writing books, short stories, oh yeah acting in movies. But then author of this gallery must not get out much!

XD amazery.
Though I'm actually sad to here Alexis Denisof has Bell's Palsy.
I'm checking IMDB now for Amber Benson, she's been a lot busier than what they are saying, staying more on the indie circuit... not famous, but still awesome.
