I admire Elizabeth for her spunk to stand up to the group. Barbara Walters was rude and disrespectful to Senator and Mrs. McCain for not letting him finish his statements. As a former prisoner of war, he deserved more respect than he was given. That group might learn something if they would stop and listen to facts and truths for a change. As Obama supporters they gave more respect to Michelle who once said, "For the first time in her adult life, she was proud of America."
I don't know why I waste my time with that show. And Ellen over emphasized her personal life.

I am a longtime viewer but more and more I am tempted to switch to another channell when I see everyone talking at the same time and you can't hear what anyone is saying. I am very irritated by Barbara always interrupting Elizabeth every time she tries to make a point and putting her hand up in front of her face. She of all people should know better because she is always preaching to the viewers. She never does that to the other co-hosts, you can bet she wouldn't try it with Joy or Whoopi. Barbara should understand a lot of viewers want to hear Elizabeth's opinion and trying to smother her all the time is very very annoying. Smarten up Barbara. CB

It is my opinion The View should be removed from the air. The women are always talking over one another. It's no longer a fair dicussion of opinions. They are shoving left-wing doctrine down their viewers throats! Joy is nasty, caddy, and mean-spirited. Joy, Whoppie, Barbara and, of course, Joy were extremely unprofessional in their interview with Sen. John McCain and his wife, Cindy. They should be embarrased. Sen. McCain and his wife were nothing but respectful and gracious. Mainstream America identifies more with Elizabeth. When will you ladies learn? Perhaps when your ratings continue to go down and Sen. McCain and Sarah Palin take office in January? Bye, bye View hosts...your days on air are limited. (P.S. Don't worry Elizabeth. You will find better employment worthy of your integrity and character.)

I agree, everyone on the viewwas totally rude and disrespectfully and obviously they have no idea what it is like to be respectfully. I am an undecided and watching shows like this i do not like how people that support dems.
Barbara, shame on you for letting those amongst you be so rude to others no matter what the issue is.

I use to be an advent watcher of the "View" but during the McCain interview I turned the program off and will NEVER watch it again.
The interview was totally one sided for O'bama as well as his wife's appearance. When McCain and his wife were guests, they were treated like enemies of the show. They certainly didn't seem that they were guests of anything except a roast.
Rid the airways of these bias shows and sent an apology to the McCains.

I must admit that I was an ardent fan of “The View” till I came across the interview with Sen. John McCain and Cindy McCain. Barbra Walters’s condescending and disrespectful demeanor towards the McCain’s has compromised her professionalism and credibility with her viewers around the world. My friends, colleagues and I are very disappointed to see that Barbara continues to tolerate Joy’s vicious sarcastic remarks towards Sen. John McCain - a respectable candidate who graced “The View” to share with your viewers his goals and plans, It was with great humility he took the punches without discrediting the ladies hosting the show. THE VIEW does not have to agree with everyone and ever thing but must maintain their dignity when hosting a show and honoring the guest with the same.
Elizabeth – you are a smart and extremely qualified individual who stands tall and proud from the rest of your colleagues, I think it is time for a change “a new job that spells dignity and self-respect”
FYI – I was a democratic but thanks to Joy and her many airhead interviews I have decided to vote for Sen. McCain.

I do not watch the View. I did see a part of the interview on the news. Those four women should not call themselves hosts. Hosts do not treat their guest the way they treated Mr. & Mrs. McCain. Those four boorish women were darn right rude and ignorant. Mrs. McCain has more class, charisma and self respect in her little finger then Barbara has in her entire body. What has Barbara ever done to help mankind. I believe that Rosie had it right when she said that Barbara should hang it up. Walters is no mentor. Thank God for Elizabeth.

I saw on Q13Fox news channel how disgracefull the panel behaved towards Mr. McCain and his wife and how foolish they acted with the Obama's. They were all over Mr.Obama comparing him with Brad Pitt. Joy Behar calling Mr. McCain a liar.Joy apparently did not read the lies in Mr.Obama's book. My father was a goat Herder....my foot... his father was a well priveledge educated youth, who went to work with the Kenyan government. Joy Behar should Google a bit more. Google "Obama and Odinga" and see what you get.
The View should be cancelled and Barbara should be send to a nursing home. You lost it Barbara.

OMG....just viewed for the first time your Poll section....The View was the topic. No way can it be so onesided (McCain only lovers). Something or someone is amiss...could it be the pollster is conservative? Don't we have enough of that already?

Well, I am so glad to see that there are others who like me were totally disgusted and apalled at the behaviour of the hosts of the View towards the Mc Cains. I was shocked by Barbara Walters' total disrespect for this war hero and moreso to Cindy who responded like the lady she is. I was less surprised by Joy Behar's viscious nasty attitude because she has shown all along that she has NO class. That treatment was unwarrented, especially after all the fawning over and kissing up to the Obamas. We need more than this one sided and monotonous " View. " I too will tune out and turn off their far left, viscious hateful rhetoric and hope that Elizabeth will soon find a more uplifting type of employment where she can be respectfully treated. Apology needed. Claudia
